FlowBookings sends email notifications to the admin and customers to remind them of upcoming, scheduled, or canceled bookings.
From the Email Customizer page, you can edit the content of these notification emails. On this page, you'll find two tabs for Customer and Admin notification emails.
Here's a detailed overview of both of these types of emails.
There are 6 notification emails that can be sent to customers. Here's a brief explanation of these emails:
Booking Pending: This email is sent whenever a customer fills out the form and the booking status is pending.
Booking Approved: This email is sent when the status of a booking is approved.
Booking Canceled: This is email is sent when a booking canceled by the admin from the dashboard.
Booking Rejected: This email is sent to the customer when their booking is rejected by the admin.
Booking Reminder: This email is sent 24 hours before the scheduled appointment as a reminder to the customer.
There are 2 notification emails that can be sent to admins. Here's a brief explanation of these emails:
New Booking: This email is sent when a booking is made by a customer.
Booking Reminder: This email is sent 24 hours before the scheduled appointment as a reminder to the admin.
You'll find a Send Notification toggle on top of each notification email. This allows you to enable/disable the notification email.
By default, all notification emails are enabled but you can disable the ones you don't want to send.
Note: We recommend you keep all the customer notification emails enabled as it's the only way they can be notified of their appointments.
FlowBookings also lets you customize the content of the notification emails. You can replace the default email copy with your own copy and even personalize them further by inserting personalization tags.
